Turn your unit rate and standing charge into an annual bill and an all-in price per kWh, with CCL and VAT added, then see how that compares with the government average for your size of business.
For anyone holding a bill or a renewal offer and wondering whether it is any good.

A recent bill
Your unit rate in pence per kWh, your standing charge in pence per day and your annual usage in kWh. Most bills show all three.
Your meter number
An MPAN for electricity or an MPRN for gas. You need one for an accurate quote, and it tells you which network region you are in.
Your contract end date
Your end date decides when you can switch and when suppliers will quote. Miss it and you can roll onto out-of-contract rates.
A calculator is an estimate, not a quote. These tools use the rates you type in plus published tax rates. They can't see your meter, your region's network charges or what a supplier would offer you today. For real prices, compare live quotes for your postcode.
